Intake Process

At Against All Odds Recovery, your journey begins with care, understanding, and precision. Our intake process is designed to ensure that every client receives the right level of support from the very start — blending compassion with clinical expertise to create a foundation for lasting recovery.

It starts with a simple phone call to our admissions team. During this conversation, we’ll complete a brief pre‑screening to learn about your needs, answer your questions, and help you feel comfortable with the next steps. This initial connection allows us to prepare a personalized path forward before you even walk through our doors.

Once you arrive, you’ll complete a urinalysis to establish a baseline for treatment and help our clinical team understand your current substance use. From there, a licensed drug counselor will conduct a comprehensive Substance Use Disorder (SUD) assessment, exploring your history, challenges, and goals to build a treatment plan tailored specifically to you.

To ensure a whole‑person approach, you’ll also have access to a psychiatric evaluation with a psychiatric nurse practitioner, addressing any co‑occurring mental health concerns and helping us design a plan that supports both emotional and physical wellness.

Throughout the intake process, our team is here to guide you — answering questions, offering reassurance, and making sure you feel supported every step of the way. By the end of this process, you’ll have a clear, confident roadmap toward recovery and a team committed to walking that path with you.
